In addition, we will visit the magical town of Villa de Santiago, you will fall in love with its colloquial style. And, as if that were not enough, with more than 25 meters high, the Cola de Caballo waterfall becomes the fifth most beautiful in all of Mexico! Its torrent descends from the Sierra Madre Oriental, thus becoming a small river. You will be able to admire it from different perspectives and of course, feel the breeze on your face.
Transporte desde el hotel en Monterrey
A 15-passenger van will go to the hotel where they are staying to start the adventure. We will have approximately an hour’s drive from Monterrey to the Cola de Caballo waterfall, located within the Cola de Caballo Ecotourism Park.
We will have a walk of approximately 10 min. To reach the impressive waterfall, you will have enough time to take pictures.
Horseback riding (optional)
Near the Hacienda Cola de Caballo is the town of Santiago, a place full of traditions and culture, here you can have breakfast in one of the richest restaurants in the area. You will have enough time to visit the main square, the viewpoint, the house of culture and its church.
After a tour of the town we headed towards the La Boca dam, a place located at the foot of the Sierra Madre Oriental and Sierra La Silla. We will spend a short time, enough for you to take pictures.
We’re going shopping! The Los Cavazos shopping area is ideal for buying all kinds of local handicrafts, its merchants will give you the best prices.
At approximately 4:00 p.m. we will be arriving at the hotel.
